Photos of my BBC Merlin Guinevere figure!

I hadn’t seen a lot of closeup photos before ordering her, but I’m happy to find she looks really nice, and the amount of resemblance and detail gets my approval (though I’m tempted to take a fine, fine marker and draw in Angel’s freckles for her, since she’s missing those).

She comes with a hatching baby Aithusa. I’m not sure why, but I’m happy she does because Aithusa is the other character I wanted a figure of. :D (And already kind of have one, though the big dragon in the last two photos is not part of the Merlin figure set. I’ve just been calling that one Aithusa, for obvious reasons, and that’s the dragon I was holding in one of the photos of my Merlin cosplay. So… now I have a baby Aithusa and a grown-up Aithusa! Or a grown-up Aithusa and hir baby!)

Like the other Merlin figures, she doesn’t have a lot of poseability, you can move her arms up and to the side, and she can hold things (I imagine if I had a Merlin or an Arthur the torch and sword that come with them would fit in her hands).

But she can ride dragons. Because Gwen is awesome like that.
